EveryNetNet

EveryNetNet is a screener that does one thing: it lists every company it can find trading at or below NCAV, across 50+ countries, and rebuilds the list every day. You filter by country, industry and P/NCAV, so you can apply Graham's two-thirds line yourself by setting P/NCAV to 0.67 or less. It doesn't rank or recommend stocks. The free plan shows 50 US net-nets picked at random on the 1st of each month. The exact rules are on the methodology page.

GuruFocus

GuruFocus has a dedicated net-net screener for Premium members. Its main rule is stricter than plain NCAV: it uses net-net working capital, which counts receivables at 75% and inventory at 50% before subtracting total liabilities, and it looks for prices below two-thirds of that. It also checks for positive operating cash flow and little debt. You can filter by headquarters country and market cap and download results to Excel. Without a Premium plan the results are hidden.

Stockopedia

Stockopedia has a ready-made Graham NCAV Bargain screen. Its screener also has 350+ ratios and 65 ready-made GuruScreens if you want to build your own version. Plans are sold by region: the US plan was $395 a year on October 17, 2026, and other regions and bundles are priced separately. It is a full research platform with stock reports, its own StockRanks and portfolio tools, so you pay for much more than the net-net screen.

Net Net Hunter

Net Net Hunter is a membership rather than a screener. Its raw screens list over 1,000 net-nets in 28 countries, updated at the end of each month, and its team hand-picks a shortlist of 30 each month. It also has research reports and a forum. There's a fuller comparison in EveryNetNet vs Net Net Hunter.

Building your own

You can screen by hand with free data. For US companies, the SEC's EDGAR system has every 10-K and 10-Q for free. For each company, take total current assets, subtract total liabilities (and preferred stock and minority interest, if any), and compare the result with market cap. It works well for checking a few dozen names. Covering a whole market this way, and keeping it current as companies report, is slow, which is the gap paid screeners fill.

Why screeners show different results

Two screeners can show different net-nets on the same day for ordinary reasons:

  • Formula: NCAV, NCAV minus minority interest, or the stricter NNWC.
  • Threshold: everything below 1.0 times NCAV, or only below 0.66.
  • Extra filters: cash flow, debt, minimum market cap, or exclusions for bankrupt companies.
  • Data timing: balance sheets update only when companies report, and providers pick up new filings at different speeds.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free net-net screener?

EveryNetNet's free plan lists 50 US net-nets, refreshed monthly. GuruFocus and Stockopedia offer free trials of their paid plans (7 and 14 days, checked October 17, 2026). For a fully free option you can calculate NCAV yourself from company filings, which takes much longer.

What is the difference between an NCAV screen and an NNWC screen?

NCAV is current assets minus total liabilities. Net-net working capital (NNWC) is stricter: it counts receivables at 75% and inventory at 50%, so fewer stocks pass. GuruFocus's net-net screener uses NNWC, while EveryNetNet and Stockopedia use NCAV.

Which screener covers the most countries?

Of the tools above, EveryNetNet covers 50+ countries and Net Net Hunter 28. Stockopedia sells coverage by region. GuruFocus has a headquarters-country filter, so check which markets your plan includes.

Why does one screener find more net-nets than another?

Different formulas, thresholds, extra filters and data dates. A list that includes everything up to 1.0 times NCAV will always be longer than one that stops at two-thirds.
